Space Infrastructure Fund: Mission Control Centre Consultation (Adelaide)
September 20 - 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
The Australian Space Agency (the Agency) aims to transform and grow a globally respected Australian space industry that lifts the broader economy and improves the lives of Australians. In the 2019-20 Federal Budget, the Australian Government announced the $19.5 million Space Infrastructure Fund (SIF). This is an infrastructure investment over three years from 2019-20 to remove barriers in the growth of the Australian space sector.
The SIF targets seven infrastructure projects for common-user platforms that cannot be provided by industry alone. One of these projects is to design and build a Mission Control Centre in Adelaide, South Australia.
The Agency is currently undertaking public consultation to inform the program design of the Mission Control Centre. The Agency is seeking your consideration of the proposed objectives and delivery framework for the Mission Control Centre, and welcomes your comments and feedback during the consultation phase.
The consultation sessions will run for approximately 2 hours. The sessions will start with a short presentation, followed by time for discussion. Please arrive 15 minutes early for registration.
