The ISU Executive Space Course is a one week intensive professional development program designed for busy professionals wishing to come up to speed on the knowledge of space systems and space disciplines required to operate effectively in the space sector. The course has been held many times in the US and Europe. This is the first time it has been held in Australia.
It’s based on the International Space University inter-disciplinary teaching model and will be attended by up to 20 professionals, including staff of the Australian Space Agency, other Commonwealth and State agencies and also university and private sector professionals working in space-related fields. On-line registration is still open. The course fee (including course transport, lunches and two dinners) is A$6,000. Most of the lectures will be at Industry House, Binara Street, Canberra. Professional visits will be to the ANU and the Space Environment Research Centre at Mount Stromlo and to the CSIRO Canberra Deep Space Communication Complex at Tidbinbilla.
