Please join for a session by HotPopRobot team on the topic ‘Building Robots, Rovers and Rockets’. It includes demos of the robotic projects they have done , explain about programming behind those rovers, resources and materials used and how other kids can start with simple robots. This session is ideal for grade 3 to 8 students who are interested in robotics.

About HotPopRobot team:

Artash (13 years) and Arushi (10 years) love space, music and arts. They love hacking and building things. Together they have participated in 35 hackathons and built robots, rovers, rockets, battle bots and many space related projects. These projects have been displayed at the Ontario Science Centre, the Toronto International Film Festival, the NASA Youth Space Apps, the Science Rendezvous and Maker Festivals in Canada and India.

They are the winners of the NASA Space Apps Challenge Toronto 2019, 2018, 2017, 2014, and the 2018 Imaging the Skies and the 2017 Jesse Ketchum Award of the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada.

In 2014, they co-founded their organization: HotPopRobot.com to accelerate the participation of the next generation in space exploration and robotics. Every year they do multiple outreach events in schools, libraries, streets in English and French to share their passion for science and space with other kids and families.
