Australian Space Outlook Magazine – out now

Faircount Media Group, the publisher of Defence Science and Technology (DST) OUTLOOK, and Navy OUTLOOK, is proud to announce the launch of a new flagship publication in their stable of OUTLOOK titles, entitled Australian Space OUTLOOK. Faircount has created the definitive annual publication discussing what’s relevant and important in the space sector. It includes analysis, case studies, and special reports. Faircount has gathered together many executives from government, academia, and industry that are helping shape the future of the space sector to create thought-leadership articles, editorial features, and help contribute to the discussion.

The publication and its content will cover all aspects of the space sector in Australia and includes a foreword from the Hon Karen Andrews MP, Minister for Industry, Science and Technology, and an opening interview from Anthony Murfett, Deputy Head of the Australian Space Agency.

The publication is supported by the Space Industry Association of Australia (SIAA), the Australian Science Teachers Association (ASTA), and National Science Week.

The publication will examine Australian Space Agency partnerships, industry agreements and international engagement, update articles on the progress of the Australian Space Agency, case studies on Australian space companies and the new technologies and products they have to offer, as well as how we are creating and maintaining the STEM pipeline, and developing our space engineers, astronauts and space lawyers of the future. The publication also includes articles on space situational awareness (SSA), Australia’s role in the moon landing (this year being the 50th anniversary), commercial launch opportunities, New Space, space tools and their use in disaster management, lessons learned from other international space agencies, and interviews with industry executives and academia.
