Australia and Japan – formalise agreement to cooperate in Space

Great news for the Australian Space Industry with the recent announcement by Prime Minister Scott Morrison that “Australia and Japan will form a space agreement to work together in the final frontier, as the two nations also look to deepen their defence and security ties in the face of a rising China.┬áThe deal will be inked during a virtual meeting between Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison and his Japanese counterpart Shinzo Abe on Thursday, committing the two countries’ space agencies to develop greater co-operation in space science, research and education.”
