Executive Director, National Facilities and Collections, CSIRO
Former Chief Executive, UK Space Agency and former Chairman of the European Space Agency
Dr Williams joined the CSIRO in Australia in 2013, bringing with him a wealth of experience in space agency leadership in the UK and Europe. He will speak about the remarkable transformation taking place in the UK space sector as a result of renewed government and private sector cooperation and investment. He will relate his European experience to the challenges faced by the Australian space sector and will comment on the opportunities as well as the challenges that lie ahead.

It is strongly recommended to catch a bus to UNSW. Numerous bus routes service the UNSW campus and come frequently in peak periods. Below is a list of all the buses that you can catch to UNSW depending on where you are travelling from.
Buses 370, M50 run from Coogee and drop off for UNSW on High Street.During peak times the M50 departs every 10 minutes.
Buses 400, 410 runs from Bondi Junction to UNSW main gate on Anzac Pde.
Buses 392, 394, 396, 397, 399, L94, 302, 303, M10 run from Circular Quay to UNSW main gate on Anzac Pde via Oxford Street and Taylor Square. These are the best buses to catch if you are coming from/to Town Hall.
Buses 393, 395 run from Central to UNSW main gate on Anzac Pde via Surry Hills. If you are catching a train into the city, get off at Central and catch one of these buses. Express Buses 890, 891, 892 run from Central and drop off at UNSW on High Street.
Buses 393, 394, 395, 396, 397, 399, L94, M10 pass through Maroubra Junction to UNSW main gate on Anzac Pde.
Buses 391, 392, 410 pass through Eastgardens to UNSW main gate on Anzac Pde.
Limited parking is available at UNSW in the dedicated parking stations on campus. Enter the campus via Gate 14, Barker St Kensington [N14] or Gate 11, Botany St Randwick [F27] and park in the metered parking areas only. Do not park in reserved areas. This map has all the parking locations available on the UNSW campus marked.
Off campus parking is also available, there are 1 hour and 2 hour restricted parking zones and also unlimited parking in surrounding streets.
